Resuming classes august 2021
We have some big news to share, we will resume classes beginning August 3rd.
Even bigger news!!!
We are super excited to announce Third Coast Clay will be moving!
The new address is 8519 N. Main Street, Houston, TX 77022, in Independence Heights.
The studio building is just over 1,700 square feet and the gated property is over 19,000 sq. ft. it is completely fenced in and will have plenty of lighting and security cameras.
We are also expanding our class schedule, classes will now be 8 weeks long with no make-up dates an the studio will close for one week after the last class. We wanted to be able to give the instructors a break, to allow us to have clay related events, host guest artists, and keep a more formatted schedule. The new cost for a session is $350 and we are asking that you bring your own hand tools. We will offer used hand tools for a small fee for those that wish to purchase them and you’ll still have access to the specialty tools and equipment.
We are also making changes to enrollments, we will be using a new scheduling system, which can be visited at
A preview of the current schedule (we plan to add more classes next session):

We are sad to announce, Abbie, our Monday evening instructor, is really busy over at Box Sparrow Studios and will not be returning to Third Coast Clay this session. We are thankful for the time she spent with us and are fortunate to have worked with her the past couple years and look forward to her hopefully returning.
Stacy, our Tuesday evening instructor, will be joining us at the new studio, but, she will not be the Tuesday evening instuctor. Jacob, our Thursday evening instructor will not be able to join us this session, but plans to be back in 2022. We have two new instructors, Michelle and Sierra and hope to have more new faces, with fresh approaches, and teaching styles join us by the next session.
