Service Description
Once a month firings October - March Join us to learn a fresh take on westernized alternative firing adapted from the traditional Japanese raku process. Some of the techniques we will be using are tape resist, crackle glazes, horsehair/feathers, and mica. Work: Please bring two bisque works up to 11" tall x 6"wide. We do not recommended plates, platters, or flat slabs. If you don't have a piece, we will have some pots for sale $20 each. All glazes and safety gear will be provided. Clothing: Cotton clothing and closed toe shoes Limit 8 students per session. Upcoming workshop dates: Oct. 12, Nov. 23, Dec. 14, Jan 04, Feb. 8, Mar. 8. Refreshments: BYOS (Bring your own snack)
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Third Coast Clay holds limited seating, and many of our sessions/events sell out. For this reason, we request that you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled session/event. This will allow us to offer your spot to another student. Please email us at contact@3rdcoastclay.com Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 14 day notice of your need to cancel, we will credit your payment toward another session/event. If you do not cancel with at least 14 day notice, you will lose any payments you have already made. 7 Week Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the 7 week class has less than 4 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified by the Saturday before class was scheduled to start. Touch n Go and Themed Workshop Cancellation Policy Due to Low Enrollment: Classes are booked based on enrollment minimums. If the Touch n Go or Themed Workshop class has less than 3 students the class will be closed for that session and the clients and teacher notified 48 hours before class was scheduled to start.
